Anti-Infectives

What is it?

Intravenous anti-infectives like antibiotics and antifungals help patients treat their infections at home. Your IP support team will carefully monitor your anti-infective infusion therapy as you manage your health at home.

What does it treat?

IV anti-infectives treat bacterial and fungal infections in patients who are not well enough to take oral anti-infectives or oral antibiotics. Additionally, these IV treatments also target certain infections that oral antibiotics cannot.

Some infections that may need IV anti-infectives include:

Pneumonia
Complicated urinary tract infections
Skin infections
Soft tissue infections
Osteomyelitis
Bacteremia

Why IP?

Often, we meet patients and their families in some of their most vulnerable moments. Our patients deserve advocacy–in the hospital, at clinics, and at home. We fight for our patients. We empower them with the tools they need to administer safe and effective infusions at home. We interface with providers and monitor patient labs. It’s so much more than infusion therapy; it’s a multi-discipline approach tailored to each and every patient.
